We will be using the ‘Ben and Betty’ phonic scheme throughout the year to teach your children their alphabet using the letter sounds. Each week we will follow the order of the alphabet focusing on the letter sounds. This letter will be displayed in our Nursery window.

Our topic this term is ‘All About Me’ and the children have already started their self portraits. Please could you send in a photograph of ‘someone special’ with your child or a member of their family with a name on the back. The photographs will also be used for a variety of activities and to develop their language skills.
